Calligra Suite is a collection of free software application, made by a community of volunteers, with different skills, contributing to different areas.
No matters what your skills are, there is something you can do to help with the project. If you want to get in touch with the community, you can join the IRC channel: #calligra on irc.freenode.net, join the mailing-list email@example.com, use our community page, use the forum, or finally KDE’s bugs tracker.
If you know C++ and Qt, or if you want to learn, and want to contribute with code, the best way is to join the Calligra Academy (a formal training programme) or start by reading the First Contact page on the Calligra Developers wiki where you wil find how to build the programs from source code, how to report bug or wish.
Calligra Suite is currently released with 25 different languages other than english. But those translations needs to be kept up-to-date, also, Calligra might not yet be available in your language, but this can change with your help. More information is available at the KDE localization website.
You can also contribute by testing Calligra’s applications. And either report new bugs in KDE’s bugs tracker, or tests that the current reports are still up-to-date. More information on how to help with testing is available in Bugsquad page on KDE Techbase.
An other important area that needs help is improving the user documentation, the effort now happen on KDE’s userbase.
