Thanks a lot! I watch this project since some time, mostly because I’m interested in Calligra Author. I’m afraid I found a – for me – serious bug at once (Bug #331319). :) But nevertheless, thanks for your hard work!

    Hi.

Will this release be able to paste in Words content copied from webpages?
Release after release, at least until 2.7.5, that is the last one I tested, it’s been impossible to copy a paragraph which included text and images from a webpage: images won’t be pasted, and text was pasted in weird formattings (sometimes in blue and underlined, like an enormous URL link, sometimes in bold and big fonts, etc). Something that’s so basic, that even software which doesn’ even aspire to become text processors like Evernote do better, I think should be prioritary. I think many, many people who uses a word processor is constantly copying content from the web, but Words just refuses to paste images, and refuses to keep text as close to original as possible.

I know I should try and test this last beta by myself, but I just don’t have the time, nor the “illusion” to try again and get always the same results. Please, don’t get offended, you do a great job taking into account the scarce manpower you count on :-/ But I just want to know if there are progresses on this subject before trying, and since I can’t see any link to some changelog in this post I better ask you.

    Thanks for your time.
    Best regards.
